About Us
Do you believe that trails are simply a means to get to the deep stuff? Does the Startrek motto, 'to boldly go where no man has gone before' describe your mountain riding style? If you answered yes, welcome to our Web site.
We are Ken and Denise Johnson of Ag Sales & Service, located in the southwest corner of Nebraska in the small rural town of Grant. Our business began in 1984 as a diesel repair shop where we specialized in the care and maintenance of Case tractors. Since then we have grown from a rented shop to our own location on East Hwy 23. We still work on Case tractors as well as diesel motors and truck air brake systems.
In 1990 we became an Arctic Cat dealer. This business move was directly related to the fact that Ken was transitioning from a dirt bike/ motocross rider into an amateur, high-mark hill climber. The price of his sled pilot learning experience was usually one windshield per weekend! We had trouble finding replacements. He came home with an Arctic Cat brochure and told me to, "see what it would take to become a dealer". Within five days of that call, we had ordered six new sleds and $40,000 worth of parts, garments, accessories and special tools. Not bad for a location which rarely sees snow and the highest mountain is a 15 foot hill. Long story, short... it worked and the rest as they say...is history!
We are strictly an Arctic Cat dealer. We specialize in mountain riding set-ups by riding often and reading every sled magazine that is published. We talk with other dealers and performance specialists as well as snowmobilers like you. We experiment. Ken, or KJCatmaster as he is known on the Snowest forum, is a sledhead who has turned his passion into his business.
We invite you to join our Arctic Cat family of satisfied customers. If it's new and you want it, give us a call. If you need a dependable, used sled, we have those too. If it's broken, we can fix it. And if the word stock is not in your vocabulary, we have the knowledge to modify so your Cat will purrrrrrrr. We ride in the Snowy Mountain range of Wyoming and would love to show you around our winter playground. Call us.
